An exciting opportunity is available for a Services Assistant/Porter reporting to the Nursing Services Manager. The successful candidate will form part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring patient satisfaction and that all our patients receive comprehensive quality care.

Critical Outputs

• Provide assistance with patient luggage on admission and discharge.

• Safe transportation of patients within the hospital- between reception, wards, doctors’ rooms, x-rays and other allied health professional rooms.

• Ensure wheelchairs are clean and in good working order at all times for their purpose.

• Directing patients and visitors to relevant departments within the hospital.

• Distribution of internal communication.

• Collection of stock and stationery for the Department.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.

• 3 years relevant experience in private healthcare advantageous.

• Computer proficiency
