Description
A vacancy exists for a Marketing Intern reporting to the Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the hospital’s marketing and communication in promoting the hospital’s services, as well as assist with content creation, patient engagement as well as event coordination.
Critical Outputs
• Assist in developing marketing materials such as social media posts, flyers, newsletters and website content.
• Assist organize and promote hospital events or community outreach programs.
• Conduct basic research on healthcare trends, patient needs and competitor activities to support campaign planning • Support in launching and tracking internal and external marketing campaigns.
• Assist in creating and distributing internal newsletters and/or communication materials
• Ensure that all marketing content aligns with the hospital’s brand guidelines and tone.
• Coordinate with medical staff, admin, and other hospital units to gather input or support for any marketing initiatives
• Support the planning and execution of marketing events and promotions
Requirements
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or any related field of study.
• Digital literacy
• Computer proficiency is essential.
